Many
times the distressing events of daily life leave us uneasy and discouraged,
asking why we live. But if we think about one thing that we want to
accomplish in the future, that thought will serve as a lighthouse, guiding us
through this difficult day. The dream might be small or big: the desire to
visit a city which we read about in a magazine, the thought of spending
Christmas with our family, or of seeing someone we haven’t seen in ages, or of
eating a food someone is going to prepare for us… No matter what dream we have,
it will still support us, showing that there is something worth living for.
A
person without dreams is a person without hope. We need to keep the light of
hope always shining within ourselves.
O farol
Muitas vezes os fatos
perturbadores da vida diária nos deixam inquietos e desanimados, nos
perguntando por que vivemos. Mas se nos lembrarmos de uma coisa que queremos fazer
no futuro, esse pensamento servirá como um farol, guiando-nos neste dia difícil.
O sonho pode ser pequeno ou grande: o desejo de visitar uma cidade que vimos numa
revista, a ideia de passar o Natal com a família, ou de ver alguém que não vimos
há séculos, ou de comer uma comida que alguém vai preparar para nós ... Não
importa o sonho que temos, o importante é que ele nos sevirá de apoio,
mostrando-nos que há alguma coisa pela qual vale a pena viver.
Uma pessoa sem sonhos é uma pessoa sem esperança. Precisamos manter a luz da esperança sempre brilhando dentro de nós mesmos.
