Reiki energy (a energia do reiki)

I place my hands on the head of the old woman, who is lying still on the bed of the retirement home. She is a terminally ill patient, in the last stage of dementia, and I am there to do reiki on her. I ask God, the Universe, and all Reiki guides to help me. It is not easy for me, but how can I think about me when there is a person so fragile and suffering so much right in front of me?

 I close my eyes and concentrate on the energy flowing through my hands. I make a silent prayer for this woman, who I have never seen before. I wish she has a safe travel to the place where she is going, I wish that all angels be with her, guiding her. When I leave, I hope that at least my prayer will be helpful. 

I am deeply moved by this reiki experience, and I am sure that the rest of my day won’t be the same. I feel humble and thankful for everything I was given in this life. Charity helps more the one who performs it than the one who receives it.

A Energia do Reiki

Coloco minhas mãos sobre a cabeça da mulher idosa, deitada na cama da casa de repouso. Ela é uma doente terminal, na fase final de demência, e eu estou lá para fazer reiki nela. Peço a Deus, ao Universo, e a todos os guias do Reiki para me ajudar. Não é fácil para mim, mas como posso pensar em mim mesma quando há uma pessoa tão frágil e sofrendo tanto bem na minha frente?

 

Fecho meus olhos e me concentro na energia que flui através das minhas mãos. Faço uma prece silenciosa por aquela senhora, que eu nunca tinha visto antes. Peço que ela tenha uma viagem segura para o lugar onde está indo, e que todos os anjos estejam ao seu lado, guiando-a. Deixo-a lá com a esperança de que pelo menos a minha oração tenha sido útil.

Estou muito emocionada com essa experiência com reiki, e tenho certeza de que o resto do meu dia não será como sempre. Sinto-me humilde e grata por tudo que me foi dado nesta vida. Caridade ajuda mais a quem faz do que a quem recebe.
