So Much to Give... (Tanto para dar...)

Throughout our life we accumulate many things. Countless hours that we could spend relaxing with friends, meditating, or helping someone else, we spend working to be able to buy stuff.

What many of us don’t understand is that all this things that we amass won’t help us at all when we transition from this life to another. Our growth as human beings will be measured not by the riches that we leave behind, but by the spiritual wisdom that we accumulated and by the joy that we spread.

Let go of one thing every day, even if it is just one small thing. Little by little, you will feel much better. The more you give, the more you will realize that you have to give. There is no lack of anything in your life. You live in abundance.

FRIENDLY NOTE

My Brother

Nobody expects that you become a millionaire or a saint before the good enlightens your heart and guide your steps.

Sublime is a charity that turns into comfort.

Divine a charity that converts into radiant love.

From tiny seeds come the giant trees that sustain life.

Avoid talking about yourself.

Fulfill your duty without interfering with the tasks of others.

Do not look for praise while going about your obligations.

Do not get stuck to small things, when the overall good requires your collaboration.

Forgive offenses quietly...

BILHETE AMIGO

NATIVE AMERICAN WISDOM

“When it comes time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.”

Chief Aupumut, Mohican. 1725

Chief Aupumut, Moicano. 1725
